SMS Terms of Service

1. Program description
Kelpr provides software that enables participating businesses to send service-related SMS messages—such as appointment reminders, service status updates, support follow-ups, and post-interaction notifications. Messages are triggered by a customer's relationship, transaction, or service interaction with that business and are not intended for promotional or advertising purposes. These messages are strictly service-related and do not include marketing or promotional content.
2. Consent
By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive SMS (including via an online form, point-of-sale system, or other affirmative action where required), you consent to receive service-related text messages from Kelpr, acting on behalf of the participating business you interacted with. Consent is collected through a clear, optional opt-in process and is not required to use the underlying service. Consent is not a condition of purchase where prohibited by law.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with the business (such as appointments or service events). You may receive multiple messages related to a single service or interaction.
4. Costs
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Kelpr does not charge consumers for receiving these messages; carrier charges are between you and your carrier.
5. Opt-out (STOP)
You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message sent by Kelpr on behalf of the participating business. After you send STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS from that program unless you opt in again in accordance with applicable rules.
6. Help (HELP)
For help, reply HELP to any message or contact the business that sent the message. You may also contact Kelpr at support@kelpr.com for assistance.
7. Supported carriers
Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change.
8. Privacy
How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes without your consent where required by law.
9. Changes
We may update these SMS Terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
